Combining our love for the outdoors with community engagement, the Montgomery Street Market Trail is a walkable 1-mile, open air marketplace for wellness, culture, and commerce every first Saturday in Montgomery, Alabama.

Movement is foundational to our overall wellbeing. And what better way to get in steps than with friends & family discovering new gems, visiting favorites, while supporting small businesses, creatives, and entrepreneurs.
MSMT is a walkable 1-miles city trail with gentle hills (2-miles roundtrip) connecting vibrant Cottage Hill, to the budding Old Alabama Town creative scene, through the heart of Downtown.

3 creative hubs (The Sanctuary in Cottage Hill, MAP360 at Kress on Dexter, The Square Creative Hub in Old Alabama Town)
4 museums (including the Children’s Museum of Montgomery pop-up)

There is much to discover on our trail! Cool prizes await the kids. Special giveaways for the adults, drawn at random — every month.
Complete the trail to win.
Wear your best walking shoes, and bring strollers, scooters, bikes, wagons, and have fun!
FUN FOR ALL AGES
Kid zones? Check! Interactive creative spaces? Check! Dog park? Check!
We are lining up some new experiences over the next few months, but there’s plenty to do along the trail and surrounding areas.
We can’t wait to see what you discover when you get outside.
VENDOR ZONES
Instead of a designated vendor village, there are zones along the trail.
Each zone will contain a scavenger hunt clue, so making the whole trail is necessary to win!
Scout the booths going, pick up on the way back.
ENTERTAINMENT
Montgomery really is always a vibe, if you know where to go. Lucky for us, many of those places live on our trail.
Museums, murals, galleries, music venues, bookstores, creative hubs.
Expect DJ sets, live music, art -making, conversations, & whatever our partners conjure up to ensure you always have a good time.
